Application - Forklift Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. 😃

 The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing routine maintenance on the forklift, and ensuring a safe working environment.

 Responsibilities:

•  Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as checking oil and water levels, and reporting any malfunctions.
•  Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying and documenting the quantity and quality of items received and shipped. 
• Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift.
•  Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. 
• Communicate with o  ther team members to ensure efficient and effective operations. 

 Requirements: 

1. At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
2.  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. 
3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
4.  Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5.  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
